After weeks of packing my life down I was finally on my way to melbourne airport. andy helped me immensly with storage, movage and finally gave me a lift to the airport. Thanks for croissant & coffee!!!! (and thanks for everything steve) Boarded Malaysia air, luckily there wasnt many people onboard so i got a couple of seats to lash out on! Took a whole heap of photos of aeroplanes, think i have a fetish… have tons of them from new zealand too… pretty amazing though, aeroplanes (reminds me of eurovision…amazing…just amazing… by the way go Hard Rock Halleluja!!) Watched a dodgy family flick and slept the rest of the way. Arrived at Kuala Lumpur airport and later boarded KLM and to my SHOCK, no entertainment tele…. thought i was gonna to die…what a prison…what do you do for 12 hours without a laptop.. read a little yes but 12hours!!! so luckily i had a sleeping tablet and slept through the whole ordeal… well now im in amsterdam and in 3 hours ill meet my mom at stavanger airport in norway! hurray!!!

Been in Norway for 6 days. 6 days filled with family family and more family. Andy is in Beijing and she’ll be arriving in Oslo the 1st of June and then she’s off to a norwegian forrest wedding in bergen. She’ll be coming to Stavanger sometime around the 6-7 of June. In the meantime I’m working on some proposals for film grants and the screening of biFROST a project I finished in December. There’s a trailer on this site http://missrandom.com/bifrost/ if you’re curious. Otherwise my good friend glennwiz will be vjing with a friend from california at boom festival in Portugal. We’ll definitly go there and most likely visualize too. Very excited!!! I’ve found a really cheap van, we’re planning on buying one and driving through europe! we’ll spent 2 weeks in an apartment in Spain and then we’ll continue to Portugal and drive back up to germany again. Yesterday’s big news was that a local filmmaker Bobbie Peers (from sandnes) won the cannes film festival with his short film “sniffer”!! Well done! and excellent news for the future of film in norway.
